A universal recipe of berries and strawberry jam that helps strengthen and restore joints

Joints are an essential part of our body, allowing us to move freely and perform various activities. However, with age or certain medical conditions, joint health can deteriorate, leading to pain and discomfort. One natural way to support joint health is through a diet rich in anti-inflammatory foods, such as berries and strawberry jam.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups of fresh mixed berries (strawberries, blueberries, raspberries, etc.)
  • 1 cup of strawberries
  • 1 cup of sugar or honey (adjust to taste)
  • 1 tablespoon of lemon juice

Instructions:

  1. Wash all the berries thoroughly and remove any stems or leaves.
  2. Gently slice the strawberries into smaller pieces.
  3. In a large saucepan, combine the mixed berries, sliced strawberries, sugar or honey, and lemon juice.
  4. Heat the mixture over medium heat until the berries start to release their juices.
  5. Reduce the heat to low and let the mixture simmer for about 20-25 minutes, stirring occasionally.
  6. Using a potato masher or a fork, mash the berries to desired consistency.
  7. Continue simmering for another 5 minutes to allow the jam to thicken.
  8. Remove from heat and let the jam cool.
  9. Once cooled, transfer the jam into sterilized jars and store in the refrigerator.
